More Quotes!
I carried on searching the Quotations Page. Here are some from Oprah Winfrey. Very applicable to what we're working on in Sprongboard!
"If you want your life to be more rewarding, you have to change the way you
think."
"The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your
dreams."
"As you become more clear about who you really are, you'll be better able
to decide what is best for you - the first time around."
"Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right."
Quotations to motivate
These quotes struck me as applicable to anyone who's trying to make decisions, particularly between different possible choices. See what you think!
"It is our choices...that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
J.K.Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, 1999
"The first step to getting the things you want out of life is
this: Decide what you want."Ben Stein
"The strongest principle of growth lies in human choice."George Eliot, (1819-1880)
"The self is not something ready-made, but something in
continuous formation through choice of action."John Dewey, (1859-1952)
"If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or
reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is
left is compromise."Robert Fitz
These quotes cam from The Quotations Page, online.
